"));
HEY EVERYONE, this is Analyrical from Background Noise Crew. I'm in the Twin Cities at our main headquarters plotting and finalizing some of our next moves. We have so many awesome things in store for you guys in 2011. One of those amazing things is my man Status Reign's debut solo album entitled, "Brutally Honest". Please view the video above, check out what he has to say, and click on the link above to Kickstarter to show him support as we prepare to embark on this tour!

What's good everyone? Hope this January is getting you into good spirits. Yeah, the weather has been shit, but the minutes of sunlight keeps expanding on the daily (as it has since December 21st), which means spring is nearing. Yep, we'll be finally rid of the snow!
But aside from that, we got another weekend upon us, which means there are some things you should put in your weekend plans.
This Friday at the Profile Entertainment Center, Egypto Knuckles arises from his self-imposed exile to spread some of his musical favorites to tons of partygoers at the MESA (Middle Eastern Student Association) Bonanza IV (4.0). It all goes down January 28th (TOMORROW!) at the Profile Entertainment center. You can click on the shows page for all the pertinent info:

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! Cause on Saturday, BNC's very own, Analyrical takes on Malevolant Smith at the Loft in Barfly for yet another battle for Grind Time Dominance. Once again, please feel free to venture on over to the shows section of the page for all the pertinent info:

And don't forget, coming up pretty soon here we got ToneKrusher Smith's "Big Bombs of Love" release party going down on Wednesday, February 16th at Cause Spirits & Sound Bar. Carnage, B Mc-C and Breakneck the Mage will also perform. Have you gotten the album yet? No? Well you should below. And if you're a little too lazy for that, well no worries cause you get a digital download card of "Big Bombs of Love" free with entry at all the mentioned events!
See you soon,
Egypto

I still remember how the discussion went back in Summer when this album was taking shape.
"So yo, Tone, what do you want to do with this record?" I said.
"I want to do a record about getting out of a bad breakup, getting back in love, and losing it all again." Tone said.
At first, with every album idea I ask myself: "What do you want this album to say about you?"
Then when Tone presented the idea for Big Bombs of Love, I didn't know how it was going to go with most folks. I was expecting something a little bit more oft-kilter since we had already done a concept record which was bootlegged, then sold out. That project was Frugalis McSpiteful.
So now comes this. ToneKrusher Smith's sophomore effort, an unabashedly emotional rollercoaster of an album about wanting love, getting it, and then its untimely demise. All in about 33 minutes.
Produced by myself, Egypto Knuckles and Phingaz, its definitely somethin that took some adjusting and getting used to. But we are so proud of it. And we are proud of ToneKrusher Smith.
If you dig it, post it up on your blog, share it with your friends, do whatever you can to help us spread the word about this record.
Enough of my ranting, without further adieu, I present to you the general public....

Also don't forget, on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011, ToneKrusher's release party takes place at Cause Spirits and Soundbar, and he'll be celebrating with B Mc-C, Carnage, and Breakneck the Mage, and hosted by our very own, Analyrical. You can also get a free digital download card of the album if you can't get it here, with some goodies and extras in it!
We got the flyers for the release party posted up on the site in the shows section if you want to save them and make them part of your profile page on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or just about anything.
So what are you waiting for? Go get it!
Peace,
Egypto Knuckles

Hello all!!
November has been a bit of a challenge. I'm going to start off by saying I'm sorry. I've been hard at work preparing many projects to launch in the coming months. I had planned for November to be an epic month for the free sounds - but sadly it will not be.
With that said I'm dropping something to look forward to.

Hello All!!!
Its my birthday today - and I'm feeling SILLY. So I'm gonna drop two Remixes on you for this month in sound!
The first is from ToneKrusher Smith's upcoming album "Big Bombs of Love" I remixed the title track with a very famous Parliament song! (Cause Parliament is THE SHIT) Besides, one of the worlds most famous Hip-Hop producers took over HALF of his debut full length from Parliament - so I figured its about time I did too!
Big Bombs of FUNK <----- Right Click Save-As
The second track I'm dropping on you comes from Analyrical's debut album "First Date" The original song is called Poet Laureate. Its a grim tale - and I figured who else better to help tell the remix than Primus. Please enjoy!!

Thanks for listening!!!

I'm one big on surprises, so for my post, allow me in conjunction with The Mad Bloggers to present to you the Labor Day Mix!
The mix itself was compiled with the theme of Labor based around it, so here you have 11 jams built around the course of what goes through my mind on a workday. It may sound foolish at times, other times it may sound downright demented, but you know, the whole purpose of labor is to work, so regardless of my thoughts, these might work for the rough work day you might be having on your days. Take today (and Monday if you got it off or not) to listen to these songs and reflect. Thanks to my fam over at The Mad Bloggers and my crew, Background Noise for the vision.
Please note: This mix was compiled from artists that are in no way, shape or form affiliated by The Mad Bloggers, Egypto Knuckles or Background Noise Crew, this is simply a labor of love where I wanted to just get this out to the people and open 'em up to new artists you may not be aware of. So without further adieu, go to the Bandcamp link below to download the mix and enjoy!
First of all, scroll down and down and check out the latest edition of Phingaz Presents: This Month In Sound.
While you wait for the track to download, you can check out the latest edition of T.Q.D's Corner as he discusses his favorite posse cuts in Hip Hop.
And of course, new projects from ToneKrusher Smith and Status Reign will be here before you know it. Stay tuned.

I'M SORRY!!
To everyone out there who follows along month to month here with me!! August has been a bit crazy but here I am!!!
This month's song has been hanging out on my Computer for quite awhile now. It was going to be part of a little 3-4 song thing I was gonna do with the BNC dudes. But I don't think that is going to come together anytime soon - THUS - You get the jam RIGHT NOW!!
The big thing in Hip-Hop now-a-days is to do a mixtape and sample crazy things. This is my version of such a practice.
So with no more blabing I give you:
